Terms of Use

Last updated November 1, 2026. Version 2026-11-01.1.

These terms are the agreement between you and Digital Repeal LLC ("we") for using Helptyfy. By making an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Helptyfy.

1. What Helptyfy is

Helptyfy reads public records and shows contractors where work may be coming. It has two halves.

Helptyfy is a website. Your account, searches, pipeline and settings are kept in its database, under your account only.

2. Leads are hints, not promises

A missing trade on a permit is a hint, not proof: contractors are often added when a permit is revised. The age of a heating or cooling unit, a roof or a driveway is an estimate, shown with how sure it is and why. A fit score is arithmetic on the records, not advice.

Helptyfy does not promise you any job, any reply, any sale or any income. Example figures, such as the postcard calculator on the "How Helptyfy helps you" page, are examples, not forecasts.

Nothing in Helptyfy is legal, financial, tax or engineering advice.

3. The records can be wrong or late

Public records can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and Helptyfy repeats them as they were published. A job or a home missing from Helptyfy may still exist. Every lead links to its source record: check it before you act.

A permit page in Helptyfy is our copy of the public record, laid out so it is easy to read and print. It is not the official permit and not a copy of a City or County document: the official record is the one the City or the County keeps.

4. Your account

When you make an account or log in, a 6-digit code is sent to your email. It is sent from digitalrepeal08@gmail.com and passes through Google (Gmail) and the workflow service n8n, which see your email address and the code. The email carries the code and nothing to sell. A copy of every code email stays in the sending mailbox's sent mail, where the people who run Helptyfy can see it.

5. What it costs

Helptyfy is sold by Digital Repeal LLC. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay, in US dollars, and include no tax unless the checkout says so.

Helptyfy opens with a plan or its free trial. An account without one sees only the plan page, where it can start a plan, join a team it was invited to, log out or delete the account.

Every month until you cancel. You pay by card through Stripe. A plan renews every month on the day it started (after a free trial, the day the trial ends), and your card is charged the plan's monthly price each time until you cancel.

Free trial. Full access starts with a 7-day free trial, once per shop. Your card is taken when the trial starts and charged $79 on day 8 unless you cancel in Settings before then; after that it renews every month until you cancel. Implementations has no free trial.

Cancelling. Cancel any time in Settings, under "Manage billing". Your plan keeps running to the end of the month you paid for, and nothing more is charged. We do not refund part of a month, except where the pricing page promises that a month's ads are free (ads not delivered by the 1st, or a late drop).

If a payment fails, we try your card again over the following days and your plan stays open meanwhile; if it still fails, the plan ends.

Price changes. We may change a price with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your first renewal after the notice ends, and you can cancel before it does.

A plan covers the shop's team (Settings, Team). Only the shop's owner starts, changes or cancels it.

6. Contacting people is your responsibility

Helptyfy drafts emails, call scripts, text messages and postcards. It never sends an email, a text or a call for you: you choose who to contact, and you send it yourself.

The laws on calls, texts, email and mail are yours to follow, for example the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the CAN-SPAM Act. That includes getting a person's consent before any automated call or marketing text, honoring the Do Not Call list, and stopping when anyone asks you to stop. Postcards from the Homeowners half carry a stop line, and its do-not-mail list must be kept up to date.

7. What you may not do

We may close an account that does any of these.

8. Where the records come from

The records come from public sources, among them the City of Chicago Data Portal, Cook County Open Data, the Cook County Assessor, the Illinois Department of Revenue, the US Census Bureau, the National Weather Service and NOAA's Storm Events Database. Maps use OpenStreetMap data, and map tiles from CARTO. The "From above" and "Look from above" links open Google Maps in a new tab, where Google's own terms apply: Helptyfy does not copy or keep Google's pictures. None of them endorses Helptyfy or is responsible for it, and their own terms apply to their data. Helptyfy is not affiliated with the City of Chicago or Cook County. Contractor phone numbers come from the City of Chicago's list of licensed contractors.

This site provides applications using data that has been modified for use from its original source, www.cityofchicago.org, the official website of the City of Chicago. The City of Chicago makes no claims as to the content, accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any of the data provided at this site. The data provided at this site is subject to change at any time. It is understood that the data provided at this site is being used at one’s own risk.

9. Helptyfy may change or be unavailable

Helptyfy depends on public data services that we do not run. They can be slow, change or go down, and then parts of Helptyfy will not work. We may change, add or remove features. We do not promise that Helptyfy will always be available or free of errors.

10. No warranty, and the limit of our responsibility

Helptyfy is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty about it, including that a record, a lead, an estimate or a score is accurate or fit for your purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost jobs, lost profits or any indirect loss that comes from using Helptyfy or relying on it, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Helptyfy in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law does not let you give up.

11. Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account yourself (Settings, then Delete my account), or ask us to (see the contact below). If a plan is still billing, cancel it first (Settings, Manage billing); the account can then be deleted. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections 2, 3, 5 (for what is owed), 6, 7 and 10 still apply after an account ends.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. Logging in after a change means you agree to the new version.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

14. Contact
