Privacy Policy

This page says what Helptyfy keeps about you, why, who sees it and how to have it deleted. Digital Repeal LLC is responsible for it.

1. What is kept about you

That is all. Helptyfy does not ask for a password, your home address or your date of birth, and never sees your card number.

If you buy a plan, Stripe (stripe.com) takes your card details on its own page. We never see or keep your card number. We keep what Stripe sends back: your plan, its status, the dates it renews or ends, and Stripe's customer and subscription numbers, so Settings can show your plan. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it keeps.

Your email address is how you log in. Your name is shown at the top of the pages while you are logged in. Your phone number is kept so you can be reached about your account. It is never texted, never sold and never used for sales calls.

When you make an account or log in, a 6-digit code is sent to your email. It is sent from digitalrepeal08@gmail.com and passes through Google (Gmail) and the workflow service n8n, which see your email address and the code. The email carries the code and nothing to sell. A copy of every code email stays in the sending mailbox's sent mail, where the people who run Helptyfy can see it.

The morning email. Unless you turn it off, Helptyfy emails you early on mornings when there is something new for your shop, one email a day at most ("Send me one now" counts as that day's): new jobs that match your company settings, follow-ups due in your pipeline, public bids closing soon and new matches for your saved searches. It goes to the email you log in with. It is sent from digitalrepeal08@gmail.com through Google (Gmail) and the workflow service n8n, which see your email address and what the email says. It carries nothing to sell, no tracking pixel and no link that counts clicks. Turn it off in Settings (Morning email) or with the stop link at the bottom of every one. Helptyfy keeps the date of the last one it sent you.

To stop the form from being misused, Helptyfy counts how many codes were sent to each address in the last day. The count is kept in its database under a scrambled mark, not the address itself, and is deleted after a day. What you type on the sign-up form waits in the database while the code is on its way, and goes into an account only once you type the right code. If you never type it, it is deleted within two hours.

2. Your work in Helptyfy

Your company settings, pipeline cards, notes, saved searches, mail runs and do-not-mail list are kept in Helptyfy's database under your account. Other accounts do not see them, except the people on your team: everyone on a shop's team sees and changes the shop's saved work, and a Pipeline card shows the first name and last initial of who changed it.

To find leads, Helptyfy uses public records about places, never about you. Nothing you type is sent to an AI service.

Links that look up a contractor, and "Open in my email app", open in your own browser or email program. The site you open sees what you looked up.

The "From above", "Look from above", "Street View" and "Map" links open Google Maps at that home or job, so Google sees that place and your network address. Google learns nothing about the place unless you click one of them. Links to a source record open the City's, the County's or the town's own site.

3. Cookies

There are no advertising cookies and no analytics trackers. Map pictures load from CARTO and OpenStreetMap, and the landing page's fonts load from Google Fonts, so those companies see your network address when your browser asks them for those files.

4. Who sees it

Your information is not sold and is not shared for advertising.

It is seen by the people who run Helptyfy, by the services named in section 1 that carry the code email, and, if you buy a plan, by Stripe, which takes the payment and sees your email address and what you type on its checkout page.

If you are on a team, the others on it see your name and email address. A shop's owner sees the email addresses they added that have not joined yet.

It is kept by Supabase, the company that runs Helptyfy's database, on servers in the United States, and it passes through Vercel, the company that hosts the website. They hold and carry it for us and see what they hold.

We hand information over when a court order or the law requires it.

5. How long it is kept, and deleting it

Your account is kept until it is deleted. You can delete it yourself at any time (Settings, or the plan page an account without a plan sees, then Delete my account), or ask us to. When it is deleted, your name, email, phone number and dates are removed from the accounts file. Your saved company details, pipeline, saved searches and Homeowners lists are deleted with it. A shop's owner removes the people on the team first; a team member's account is deleted without touching the team's saved work.

Code emails and morning emails already sent stay in the sent mail of the sending mailbox until they are deleted there. Ask, and they are deleted with your account.

Accounts and saved work are kept in Helptyfy's database, which the public cannot reach: only Helptyfy's own server can read or change it.

6. Public records

Helptyfy shows public records about properties and building work, including the names of contractors, companies and owners named on permits and property sales, exactly as the government publishes them. Those records come from government sources, not from you. The Homeowners half never reads or keeps a homeowner's name.

7. Children

Helptyfy is for adults running a business. It is not meant for anyone under 18. Everyone who makes an account says they are 18 or older. Nobody's age is checked, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is deleted.

8. Changes to this page

When this page changes, the date and version at the top change with it.
